The Basics of Dice Control
Controlled shooting at the craps table has become a recent hot topic among casino players. Controlled shooting is also called as dice control or rhythm rolling. Many players are still wondering if dice control really works.
The reason for other players to be skeptical about dice control is that all of us know that no one ever knows what is the outcome of every dice roll. The concept of dice control is to set the dice in a specific manner and throw them in exactly the same way all the time.
Doing this can result into a controlled throw. The desired result in dice control is to modify the random outcome of the dice roll when landing. Dice control can twist the sevens to roll ratio, thus making seven to appear less.
Throwing the dice in like manner can become a shooter's rhythm that will produce huge rolls. There are shooters who are trying their best to practice dice control consciously, while other craps players are unaware that they are doing dice control most of the time.
Dice control is consist of many elements. The first element of dice control is dice setting. The way you set the dice can affect the result of the roll. The 3-V set is a popular dice setting where the three's are set in a "V" formation. The 3-V set will give a hard six on top, a six on the front, an eight on the back, and a hard eight on the bottom. No sevens are shown on this kind of dice setting.
The second element of dice control is smooth delivery. Make sure you are making a smooth delivery but strong enough for the dice to reach the farthest end of the craps table. No extra force must be use so that the dice will not bounce hard against the table.
The last element of dice control is practice. Because you want to follow through with your roll, practicing dice control can make you achieve your goal. And the goal is to hit numbers while avoiding sevens. Throwing dice in similar ways can result in repeating number results.
Dice control is a physical skill that can be learned by any craps player. As a physical skill, it will require lots of hours of practice to master it perfectly. Dice control is not an easy skill to acquire and if you don't practice doing it, you can never ever master it.
But mastering dice control is not enough to ensure you of winning sessions in craps. Learning how to bet properly is also required to take the edge to your advantage. |
